Fall Team Social
The team meets for food, a robot demonstration, Frisbee, and other games. The social is an opportunity for members to bond and develop a team dynamic before the build season and serves to introduce new members and their parents to robotics.
Cinco Ranch High School Roundup
Team 624 promotes robotics at the school orientation sessions Roundup and 8th Grade Club Night. We bring our robots and set up a booth at these events. Because of the distinct image of CRyptonite Robotics and the attention the robots attract, we get plenty of student and parent interest, which helps us recruit for the following year and effectively spread the message of FIRST to our high school.
