Programming



Team 624 uses LabVIEW to program its robots. Programmers are important members of the team, because programming is what allows the robot to function and move across the field.

Beta Testing


Team 624 was selected to beta test the 2012 FRC LabVIEW and Driver Station. We designed and created an electric system onto which we uploaded Java code to test the functionality of the new station, Java's integration into the previously used system, and compare the complexity in Java and LabVIEW programming. We then uploaded our final product onto our 2011 robot and hosted an informational session to communicate results to other teams. The team was also chosen to beta test during the 2010 FRC Season.

Team Overview
  • CRyptonite Robotics is a team from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX, that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition. The program encourages the development of technical, analytical and problem solving skills. Students will learn to take a complex task and use critical thinking and creativity to overcome challenges.
