Week 3

During week 3, FIRST Team 624 made major adjustments to the ball shooting mechanism, deciding on the final design for the shooter. Team 624 also started the final assembly of the ball gathering mechanism. The programming team also started testing the Kinect, using reflective tape. With all of this accomplished the prototype robot is almost complete!

  • CRyptonite Robotics is a team from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX, that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition. The program encourages the development of technical, analytical and problem solving skills. Students will learn to take a complex task and use critical thinking and creativity to overcome challenges.
